Did you know that Canada Emancipated it’s slaves 30 years before America marked its Juneteenth? On August 1st we acknowledge our history of resistance here in Canada. We occupy stolen land, but Canadian’s have our own brand of culture and sorted history. In acknowledgement of the Indigenous land we occupy, we are Canadian.
